Howard County Public Schools Announce 2014-15 Schedule
Next school year's first day of school as well as spring and winter breaks are scheduled.
The first day of the 2014-15 school year for Howard County Public School students will be Aug. 25. Teachers report a week earlier, on Aug. 18.
The Board of Education approved the academic calendar for next school year at their Jan. 23 meeting.
Other important dates include winter break, Dec. 24 to Jan. 2, and spring break from Mar. 30 to April 6. The last day of school is scheduled for June 10, but that could change depending on snow days.
