Vantage House has formed a partnership with Suzuki Music School Music Programs to provide lessons at the retirement community for residents and other community members. Dr. Joan Spicknall is director of the school.
Suzuki Music School Music Programs at Vantage House include chorus, private and group voice lessons. The instructor is Dr. Tamara Tucker, a member of the school’s faculty. Music selections for the chorus include classical, jazz and contemporary. Private lessons are based on the individual level of the student and might include singing songs in other languages and/or learning to read music. A holiday concert is planned.
