Award-Winning Boordy Vineyards to Sell Wine at Howard County Farmers' Markets
Boordy Vineyards Joins Elk Run Vineyards and Linganore Winecellars at Howard County Farmers' Markets
The Howard County Farmers’ Markets are pleased to have Boordy Vineyards sell their award winning wines this season. Boordy Vineyards is the fourth award-winning Maryland winery to join the Howard County Farmers’ Markets this season.
Boordy Vineyards, located in nearby Baltimore County, has enjoyed over 68 years of grapes and winemaking.
Boordy Vineyards won Best in Show at the 2013 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association's Competition for its 2010 Cabernet Franc Reserve. Boordy's 2010 Landmark Reserve also took Best in Class in the same competition. Boordy’s 2010 Landmark Reserve won the 2012 Governor’s Cup Gold Medal, Best Red Blend, and overall Best in Show! In addition, Boordy’s 2012 Dry Rose won the 2013 Winemasters Choice Gold Medal and Best Rose.

Boordy Vineyards will sell wine at the following Howard County Farmers’ Markets:
- Thursday, August 8th – Howard County Library - East Columbia Branch, Columbia
- Sundays, August 18th, September 1st – Oakland Mills Village Center, Columbia
Local Winery, Elk Run Vineyards, started selling their wines at the Howard County Farmers’ Markets in June. The local Frederick County winery, nestled in the rolling hills in Mount Airy, will continue to visit four of the Howard County Farmers’ Markets on a periodic basis through November:
- Wednesdays, August 14th, September 11th, October 23rd, November 20th – Howard County Library - Miller Branch, Ellicott City
- Thursdays, August 15th, September 12th, November 21st – Howard County Library - East Columbia Branch, Columbia
- Saturdays, August 31st, November 23, Howard County Library - Glenwood Branch
- Sundays, August 11th, October 27th, November 24th – Oakland Mills Village Center, Columbia
Linganore Winecellars began selling their award winning wines in July at the Howard County Farmers’ Markets and customers will continue to be able to enjoy buying their locally grown and produced wines on:
- Wednesdays, August 7th, October 16th – Howard County Library - Miller Branch, Ellicott City
- Thursdays, August 1st, October 17th – Howard County Library - East Columbia Branch, Columbia
