As a Christian, I find it sad that St. John Baptist Church (an predominantly or all black church) would hold such an event. Would they do this if the victim were Hispanic, Chinese, Korean, White? I think not.
I imagine they also support voting for Obama simply because he is black, even though he holds views which are undeniably non-Christian (pro abortion, etc.).
St. John Baptist Church needs to remember Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
Perhaps they should change their name to St. John Baptist Social Group whose purpose is to promote the black races, irrespective of Jesus Christ.
