Week Ahead in Weather: Winter, Spring Weather in One Week
Here's a look at this week's forecast, courtesy of the National Weather Service.
Careful on the roads this morning, Howard County is under a winter weather advisory until noon Monday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), with sleet, freezing rain and even a little snow possible. NWS cautions untreated roads, bridges and sidewalks will be particularly susceptible to icing -- especially during this morning's commute. Hang in there, though – spring-like temperatures are in the forecast, too. Monday, temperatures are set to reach about 50 degrees by midday, but before that, we could see a wintry mix. By 1 p.m., any precipitation we see will be rain, according to NWS. Monday night, temperatures will drop to the high-30s, with a 30 percent chance of rain.
