Both Ravens, 49ers Due For Super Bowl Losses

The NFL franchises from Baltimore and San Francisco are both likely to lose Sunday.

They're playing for the Lombardi Trophy, but the Ravens and 49ers are both headed toward a loss on Sunday. Executives from the franchises set to meet in Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday told Bloomberg Businessweek that the organizations are set to lose money. Ravens President Dick Cass told the publication the bill is "significant." “You lose money," he said. "But there are long-term benefits that pay off later. Hey, we work hard all year long to go to the Super Bowl. I don’t think anybody would trade off a short-term loss for winning a Super Bowl." Last postseason, the Giants were to pay out an $88,000 share per player for winning the Super Bowl alone, according to Forbes.com. 'Ray Lewis' Makes Heavenly Promise During SNL Appearance

Baltimore Ravens linebacker 'Ray Lewis' said he would be heading to a celestial place if the Ravens win the Super Bowl.

  It wasn't really Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis appearing on Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" over the weekend, but Keenan Thompson stood in effectively. Thompson played the effusive linebacker to perfection. He brought the energy, the emotion and of course, the face paint. Watch his exchange with SNL's Seth Meyers above. Ulman Offers Breakfast for Best Ravens Pun

County Executive will pick from the caw-cophony of puns submitted and deliver breakfast to the winner.

  Howard County Executive and Ravens superfan Ken Ulman is getting into the Super Bowl spirit by soliciting Ravens-themed breakfast items from local residents. Whoever submits the best idea, will get a breakfast delivered by the County Exec to their office, school, or organization. Ulman put the call out on Tuesday on his Facebook page by offering menu items such as T-sizzle sausage and eggs, Brendan Ayanba-bages, Michael Eggs Oher Easy and Box o'morning Joe Flacco. John Harbaugh: 'Congratulations To Our Fans'

Despite playing in New England, fans came in big numbers to watch Ravens earn the franchise's second Super Bowl trip. The head coach and players noticed.

John Harbaugh smiled plenty throughout Monday's news conference Considering his team is headed to the Super Bowl a week from Sunday, that's no surprise.
