Construction to begin on or about Dec. 17.
A county construction project to parallel an existing sewer line along the Little Patuxent River from Columbia Road to Route 108 will close a small part of Ten Mills Road in the vicinity of Whetstone Road starting next week. County officials reported in a statement that Ten Mills Road will be closed between Columbia Road to the first intersection of Whetstone Road beginning on or about Dec. 17. Wes Daub, the project's manager for Howard County Public Works, said residents who live on Whetstone or Ten Mills Road will have to access their streets from the north, via 108. Daub said he hopes the project will be completed in about two weeks.
