HCC Battles Back, Defeats CCBC Catonsville
Dragons overcome a rough first half to beat the Cardinals, 72-66.
In a game of two distinctly different halves, the Howard Community College men's basketball team battled back to defeat the Community College of Baltimore County's Catonsville campus, 72-66, Wednesday night. Catonsville dominated the first half and led 39-31 at the break, but the Dragons responded by controlling the second half, outscoring the Cardinals 41-27. In the first half, CCBC dribble penetration was effective and allowed the Cardinals to control the tempo and build the 8-point lead they enjoyed at halftime.
