Teen Arrested for Armed Robbery at Community Mailbox
The teen allegedly stole a wallet from a man as he was retrieving his mail.
Howard County Police have arrested a 16-year-old Columbia teen who was allegedly involved in an armed robbery of a man at a community mailbox near the 10400 block of Fair Oaks in Columbia. The incident took place shortly after 6 p.m. on Nov. 14 when the victim was retrieving his mail from the community mailbox. Dymtro Klopp, 16, of the 6600 block of Dove Cote Drive, along with two other unknown suspects, allegedly approached the victim from behind, placed a gun against his head and demanded money, according to police. The victim turned over his wallet and Klopp, along with the other suspects, fled the scene, according to police.
