The men stormed into a house, assaulting the resident and stole a safe containing gold, cash, jewelry and prescription drugs, according to police.
Howard County police said they have charged two men with robbery, theft and burglary after they barged into a house, assaulted the homeowner and stole a safe containing gold, cash, jewelry and prescription drugs. Police said Jordan Ingram, 23, of Randallstown, and Dennis G. Smith, 24, of Hyattsville, were charged in the robbery that occurred around 3:30 a.m. March 28 at a residence in the 9000 block of Watchlight Court. Police said they are searching for a third man who is suspected to be involved in the incident. Ingram was also charged with assault, police said. Columbia Robbery - Home Invasion Three men, wearing all black, knocked on the door of home in the 9000 block of Watchlight Court around 3 a.m. on March 28. When a resident answered, one of the men punched the resident in the face. The men then pushed open the door and ran to a second-floor bedroom. They kicked the locked bedroom door open and stole a safe from the closet that reportedly contained prescription medicine and credit cards. The three men fled out the front door with the safe. The suspects were described by police as three black males, all about 20, one was heavyset, the other two had thin builds. All three were wearing black clothing. Police said three men, one armed with a handgun, barged into a residence near the 10500 block of Eastwind Way on Wednesday night and held a man and a woman captive inside their family room while the home was ransacked. Three armed suspects reportedly entered a residence near the 8300 block of Tamar Drive, struck a victim with a handgun and stole prescription medicine around 8:20 p.m. on Sept. 11, according to police. Police reported the suspects entered the residence through an unlocked front door and demanded prescription medicine from the resident and a visitor who was inside the home. One of the suspects then struck the resident with the butt of a handgun, causing a laceration on the victim's face, according to police. Police are asking the public for help finding three suspects.
Howard County Police are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information about a home invasion in which three suspects tied up and robbed a man in his Glenelg home, apparently targeting that home specifically. According to police, the victim answered a knock at his door just after 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11. When he opened the door, police say one of the suspects showed a gun and the three forced their way into the house on the 13700 block of Triadelphia Road. The suspects are described as two white men and one white woman. The suspects demanded cash from the house’s safe, according to police, who believe the house was specifically targeted.
