Oklahoma Men Plead Guilty to Holiday Inn Meth Lab Charges

The two men pleaded guilty to being involved with a methamphetamine lab inside an Elkridge hotel room.

  Two Oklahoma men pleaded guilty this week to charges stemming from their role in a methamphetamine lab set up inside a Holiday Inn Express in Elkridge last June. Joshua Wade Matthews, 34, of Sallisaw, OK and Forrest Derrick Rhoades, 35, also from Sallisaw, pleaded guilty to manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance and to reckless endangerment. Rhoades was sentenced to nine months in jail by Judge Timothy J. McCrone, according to Wayne Kirwan, spokesperson for the Howard County state's attorney's office. Matthews, who prosecutors described as forthcoming with authorities, is scheduled to be sentenced on March 27, 2013, according to Kirwan. Two other out-of-state men have also pleaded guilty to drug charges related to the meth lab. …
