Columbia: Two businesses and a home in Columbia were burglarized last week, according to police. At about 8:20 a.m. on Friday, police say a suspect smashed the front door of Oak Tree Furniture, on the 9100 block of Red Branch Road, with a concrete stone. The suspect took money from one register, and stole a second one. Police say the second register was stolen because the suspect could not open it. Police say a suspect used a brick to smash the front glass door of Tropical Tan on the 6900 block of Oakland Mills Road at 11 p.m. Thursday night. The victim reported coins stolen. Commercial Burglary A group of 10 to 12 juvenile males were reportedly observed by a witness pulling on the doors of a shed in Cedar Lane Park. The witness reported the juveniles opened the doors and took several cases of water and soda, but when they realized they were being observed, they dropped most of the items and fled. The incident occurred at 4:55 p.m. on Aug. 31. Road Rage A 35-year-old man from Gaithersburg was arrested Wednesday in a road rage incident. The man allegedly exited his car on Ten Oaks Road in Clarksville, walked up to a driver of another vehicle, grabbed the driver's cell phone and threw it. The suspect was arrested at approximately 9:35 p.m. near Brighton Dam and Springdale Drive. Robbery Police report a woman was robbed of her cell phone and wallet while sitting in her vehicle near the 10400 block of Swift Stream Place by a suspect who approached her displaying a knife on July 3 at 9:05 p.m. Two victims were allegedly assaulted near the 9600 block of Whiteacre Road in Oakland Mills by three unknown suspects on July 6 at 10:48 p.m. A cell phone was reported stolen in the incident. A known person reportedly approached the victim, lifted his shirt to revealed a handgun, and demanded money at about 4 p.m. on Monday. The victim gave the suspect money. Armed Robbery Keon Jackson, 23, of Columbia and Jordan Ingram, 22, of Elkridge, were arrested and charged with robbery after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint of cash and a cell phone near the 7200 block of Talisman Lane in Columbia about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two allegedly asked the victim for a ride to the Columbia Mall but instead of going to the mall, they took the man to a residence on Talisman Lane in Owen Brown, police said. Once there, Ingram allegedly struck the victim with a handgun, knocking him to the ground and continued to point the gun at the victim while Jackson went through the victim's pockets and took a cell phone and cash, according to police reports. Armed Robbery Three unknown suspects, all with dreadlocks, one armed with a gun, another armed with a knife approached a man who was on foot at the Long Reach Exxon station at 6000 Foreland Garth around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday. One of the suspects asked the man for a dollar, then allegedly displayed the gun and told the man to give the suspects his money, according to police spokesperson Sherry Llewellyn.
