The 10,000 square foot space on the second floor of the Columbia Wegmans will be used for various educational and cooking classes, according to a Wegmans spokesperson. The in-store events will be scheduled until Wegmans can figure out a permanent use for the large space on the second floor that was originally intended for a liquor store, according to the spokesperson. A large event calendar was posted just outside the second floor space that adjoins the Market Cafe last week. Recently announced events include a partnership between Wegmans and St. Agnes Hospital.
