Twele to Lead Economic Development Authority
Lawrence F. Twele will replace Laura Neuman, who was selected to be the County Executive of Anne Arundel County.
Howard County Executive Ken Ulman has selected Lawrence F. Twele as the acting President and CEO of the Howard County Economic Development Authority. Twele will replace Laura Neuman, who left the position last week after being selected as the Anne Arundel County Executive. Prior to being selected, Twele served as executive vice president in charge of business development at the EDA. Before that he spent six years as the director of the Carroll County Department of Economic Development. "I am honored by the County Executive's and Board of Director's faith in my ability," said Twele in a statement. I think that this board's emphasis on property rights and removing all barrriers to suburban sprawl is a perfect fit for someone who equates ED with building strip malls.
