Police Shoot, Kill Baltimore Man in Columbia
The man was wanted in Baltimore City on a warrant for first- and second-degree assault, as well as gun charges, according to police.

The estranged girlfriend reported that the man, whose identity has not yet been released, had broken into her home just after midnight on Thursday and awakened her by putting a gun to her head, according to police. If she was allowed to have a taser, She might have protected herself. Thanks to myopic rules Howard County is one of five counties in the entire US that does not allow non-lethal tasers as a form of defense. I can buy a shot gun that will always kill someone, but not a taser. more ›
