DPZ: New Symphony Woods Plan Has Not Been Submitted
The county's Department of Planning and Zoning said they have not made a decision on where the new plan is in the 16-step Downtown Columbia approval process.
Columbia Association's president Phil Nelson said on Friday afternoon that the first phase of a new plan to develop Symphony Woods would start at step nine in the downtown approval process -- where the previous central fountain plan left off. However, Howard County's Department of Planning and Zoning, which guides the approval process, said CA has not submitted the plan to them and have not yet made a decision on where it will be in the planning process.
