UPDATE - 1:00 p.m. - Police reported Route 29 south has been reopened near MD 32, where the accident occurred. Original Story The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services responded to an overturned tractor trailer on Route 29 south near MD 32 on Friday morning. The driver of the truck and a passenger were transported by HCDFRS with minor injuries as a result of the accident, according to Jackie Cutler, a spokesperson for the fire department. Cutler said the tractor trailer was carrying bulk dry foods. The accident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Police said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
