One person has minor injuries, according to a spokesperson.
Howard County Fire and Rescue crews are on the scene of an overturned propane tanker. According to Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Jacqueline Cutler, crews responded to the call near Old Frederick Road and Twin Arch Road in Lisbon at about 10:15 a.m. Monday. “The driver has minor injuries and is being transported to Montgomery Hospital,” Cutler said. Initial reports indicate that the tanker is not leaking propane, Cutler said.

Police say Dennis Lane was stabbed Friday morning.
Howard County police have identified a man found stabbed to death in his Ellicott City home Friday morning as blogger Dennis James Lane. According to a statement from police spokesperson Sherry Llewellyn, Lane, 58, was stabbed in his home on the 8100 block of Winding Ross Way. Lane ran Tale of Two Cities, a blog about Columbia and Ellicott City, and co-costed a Howard County podcast "... And Then There's That." A family member called 911, according to the statement. When police arrived at the home, they found Lane and a 19-year-old male who Llewellyn identified as a "suspect." Lane was pronounced dead on the scene. Howard County blogger Dennis Lane's 14-year-old daughter and her 19-year-old boyfriend have been charged with murder and conspiracy in Lane's death, according to police. The two had been plotting the killing for months, according to police, and now face charges after Lane, 58, was found dead at his home in the 8100 block of Winding Ross Way. Columbia Residential burglary A resident of the 7500 block of Broken Staff reported her Apple MacBook was stolen on April 26 between 1 and 5:30 p.m. According to police, there was no sign of forced entry. Police say a resident of the 5400 block of Columbia Road lost his keys sometime between April 27 and May 2. His keychain had his address and phone number on it. On May 2, the resident found his keys on the floor, just inside the front door. He reported several items missing, including cameras, purses, jewelry and a laptop. The alarm was sounding when a resident returned home to the 10900 block of Trotting Ridge Way on May 6 at about 5:30 p.m., according to police. Police have not identified a suspect in the case of a woman found shot to death in her car in Columbia. At about 9 a.m. on May 4, police said they received a call from someone who said they saw a woman who appeared injured in a car on the 9600 block of Basket Ring Road. Police said they found the woman, Deborah Castellano, 47, in a Toyota Corolla parked in a parking lot. Nearly 20 alleged members of the Howard County Bloods gang were indicted Wednesday on federal racketeering charges after 25 search warrants were executed across the county, including in Elkridge, according to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland. A Gwynn Oak man pleaded no contest to attempted murder in the shooting of a Columbia man outside of Sam’s Mart in Oakland Mills in January of 2012. Cedric Lamont Scott, 39, was sentenced to 17 years in prison on Tuesday after his plea, according to Wayne Kirwan, a spokesperson for the Howard County state's attorney's office. Police said Scott fired a shot at Marcus Lee as Scott and three others were attempting to sell a large amount of marijuana to Lee outside Sam’s Mart in the 5800 block of Stevens Forest Road on Jan. 11, 2012. Michael McKenny pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Howard County Circuit Court.
A Columbia man pleaded guilty Tuesday to secretly videotaping two women inside their Ellicott City condominium and was sentenced to 11 years in prison. Police arrested Michael Stephen McKenny in October of 2012 after investigating a hidden camera found inside a Montgomery Run Road condo in Ellicott City. The investigation began in September when a 29-year-old Ellicott City woman told police she found a hidden camera in her bedroom that was focused on her bathroom. According to charging documents, the camera, which began recording when it detected movement, secretly recorded the 29-year-old and a 30-year-old roommate in their bedrooms and bathrooms.
