Wilde Lake was the first high school established in Columbia. It has since grown in enrollment and prominence. The original building was renovated and expanded in 1996, which included the addition of the James Rouse Theatre named after the founder of Columbia. Wilde Lake prides itself on its diverse student body and excellent extracurricular activities.
