The gym is not good at all. It's like a placeholder...seems they got few used machines and put in a small hall. Don't fall for the gym.

Do NOT use this place, not only because the neighborhood is going downhill but also because the people in charge are criminals.
Let's start with the neighborhood, which has started to look less like Columbia and more like West Baltimore. Some nights its quiet and nothing happening; other nights there's a bunch of ghetto thugs in baggy pants and loose t-shirts loitering in the playgrounds at midnight. Cops will come, but they always show up again like roaches. Add into this that they're getting less and less subtle about selling drugs out of their houses, and this place no longer feels as safe as the rest of the area.
Now moving on to the management, which are outright criminals who abuse their authority. If you're late a day or two on the rent? Not only do they charge you late fees but court costs (what did they entail from the courts 1-2 days after rent was due?). Worse, they wait weeks after you've already paid to tell you about these fees. Then, when all these extra fees are added up and not paid for immediately, they try to say that the unpaid court costs are "late rent", which they then send another eviction notice on AND try to add ~more~ late fees and court costs. (Which, as you have guessed... is illegal)
This place may seem like a deal, and to some it is. But for anyone looking for a legitimate place to stay, where the neighborhood is safe and you don't have to worry about criminals (both across the street and in the rental office)? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
