We live down the street and had been going here for many years. They messed up an order and when we called them it was like well bring it back. No. 1 that ruins our dinner time and no. 2 it makes us responsible for their mistake. They should have said sorry next time we will have a free order for you OR let us bring the correct order for you. Not bring it back and pick up your order. Why would you want something back that someone else had? Would they give me someone elses order? Trust in their integrity is now lacking. That was almost 1/1/2 years ago BUT despite all that they have the best hot and sour soup. Their other food is good too. It is just their customer service that leaves alot to be desired and that is why we stopped going there for a long time. Giving it another chance.....

At one point I would have given this place 3 stars, as we have been loyal customers for quite some time. The food was decent and delivered fast, with no problem whatsoever.

This time, however, I'm letting everyone know: choose someplace else. Our family came back from Memorial Day vacation and decided to order food. We look online, see they are supposedly open, then proceed to use their online ordering service. Our order is placed and the automated service notes it will arrive in 30-40 minutes.

One hour later... no food. I decide to call in and check... and no answer. Are they gone? Were they just closed for Memorial Day? Who knows and who cares, seeing as our family has been sitting for an hour waiting on food that would never arrive. If your business is closed (temporarily or permanently) it is YOUR job to put a notice up. These people have just lost a family of customers for life and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor: Never use this place. If they aren't already closed, they should be soon.

We've ordered delivery from Gourmet Garden for years and the food is good. Typical Chinese takeout but its always hot, always fresh, and always done to order. Recommend them for anyone looking for some good delivery or takeout eats!

Do not waste your time at this restaurant. The food is bad and the service is terrible. Possibly the worst chinese restuarant I have ever been to.

Typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I have gone a few times for takeout orders. The portions were good at first but seemed to diminish as I became a regular takeout customer. The sushi is not fresh. Two weeks ago I spent 10 minutes trying to explain salmon roe pointing to the picture attempting to order it for takeout. I get home only to find salmon roll instead, and not fresh. Three days ago my last visit to this place, I made mention of this to man in glasses, with no apology he just stated we don't have salmon roe. It was 2:30 PM and I was placing a takeout order for General Tso shrimp. I noticed it was and the lunch special time frame for the price of $5.95. He charged over $7.00 for the order claiming that all the menus were wrong. I informed him that under US consumer law he is supposed to sell that advertised price. Note the menu you still have not changed. I humbly paid the few dollars more and quietly left. Needless to say they have lost a customer. I will be doing my take out from next door, the people much nicer and the food is better.
