I went in to Goodys unexpectant of what I would find inside. Very down to earth honest hardworking people who really cared that I got exactly what I wanted. The artwork was brilliant. Shadowing and shading in the painting look more like something you would see in an art museum than in a small shop near Baltimore. I have a beautiful hand made pen and a hand carved ,individually hand painted, Santa that sits out in my home regardless the time of year. It is awesome! It gets comments from all my friends. What a great find. One of his decoys caught my eye last time I was there. Along with a dozen other items. I know I will make the trip back many more times. Custom work at great prices. I know if I ask for it They will do it for me.

Goody's is a hidden gem in historic Elkridge. Anna and Harold are true craftspeople who make beautiful one of a kind items. Anna paints furniture that will become an heirloom in your home and her sewing is exquisite. Harold's gift is carving wood. They are both gracious and make you feel welcome in their shop. All items are priced very reasonably and they do Custom work. When you visit Goody's Folk Art, you will be glad that you stopped by!

The shop is full of one of a kind hand crafted items, many made by shop keepers, Anna and Harold. Harold is a skilled wood carver and his wife, Anna, is an amazing painter and seamstress. The couple is warm and welcoming and always full of knowledge. They also do amazing custom work! A must see!
