Neighborhood Blood Drive
After giving thanks and spending precious time with family and friends, turn all those positive feelings into positive actions and give the Gift of Life.
Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine is hosting a neighborhood blood drive the day after Thanksgiving.
Walk-ins are welcome, but an appointment will move you through faster. To make an appointment, call HCGH’s Volunteer Services at 410-884-4580 or click on the following link: https://www.membersforlife.org/rccm/mobilesch/login.php?sponsorcode=8041.

All blood drive participants will receive a special, limited edition Redskins – Red Cross t-shirt, as well as a chance to win a pair of tickets to a Redskins game, courtesy of the American Red Cross.
The American Red Cross does not need blood – patients do. Every two seconds someone in America gets a blood transfusion. Five million patients will need blood this year. A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 pints of blood.
