Player Profile: Jasmine Hill, Oakland Mills

Basketball standout is a senior at the Columbia school and plans to play Division II hoops at California of Pennsylvania.

Here is a closer look at Jasmine Hill, a senior on the basketball team at Oakland Mills High School in Columbia:

Favorite type of food: Anything Italian — she loves pizza, pasta and anything breaded.

Favorite artist/music: Wale; and hip hop, rap, pop and jazz.

Favorite ice cream: Butter pecan mixed with white chocolate mousse.

Began her sport: She started playing rec basketball around the age of 5.

First basketball team: Columbia Hawks.

Hometown: She's a lifelong resident of Columbia.

College plans: California University of Pennsylvania, a Division II school. She's excited to be a Vulcan!

Academic plans: Plans to study engineering.
