PHOTOS: River Hill, Wilde Lake in Action in Tennis State Finals

River Hill's girls' doubles team finished second in the state while Wilde Lake's mixed doubles team made it to fourth place.

Rena Shi and Audrey Cheng from River Hill High School advanced all the way to the state finals in girls’ doubles after beating Broadneck, 6-1, 6-1. They lost the first set on the tiebreaker (7-6 (7-3)) and then dropped the second set, 6-1, 6-1.

Wilde Lake’s mixed doubles team of Melissa Barrall and Daniel Evans finished fourth in the state. A 6-4, 7-5 win over Liberty got them into the consolation game, but they dropped that to Cambridge-South Dorchester.
