“World’s Largest Swimming Lesson”

On Tuesday, June 14th, 2011, the Roger Carter Pool will participate in an attempt to set the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. This is a promotional event designed to build awareness towards the importance of teaching children to swim and prevent swimming accidents.

The inaugural WLSL event took place on June 3rd, 2010 and set a Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous swimming lesson ever conducted. The 2011 event will take place at aquatic facilities around the globe, including the Roger Carter Pool.

The event is FREE to all participants, and will run from 10am-11am. Despite the WLSL being a free program registration is required. The deadline to register is 4pm on Monday, June 13th.
