This SPRING Wellness Seminar will take a look at basic caregiver skills needed for the short-term illness of a loved one. The keynote address will outline useful care-giving approaches, effective communication styles, ideas for managing tasks and strategies for stress management. Small group discussions will follow the keynote presentation.
Light refreshments will be served. A copy of “A Guide For Family Caregivers” created by the Howard County Office on Aging will be provided to everyone who pre-registers and attends the seminar.
