The Blackbird Poetry Festival welcomes Martin Espada as we celebrate Poetry as a Global Language April 28th, 2011. We'll also participate in National Poem in Your Pocket Day - Poetry Police will once again fan out around the campus to catch and cite those who fail to carry poems in their pockets. Poetry workshops are planned at both 9:30 and 11am in DH 100 on the HCC campus.
The main festival reading begins at 2:30 in the Smith Theater.
