In this class, participants will discuss and develop written plans specific to their programs for use when disaster occurs. Topics include medical emergencies, natural disasters, community issues, and technological hazards. Written plans will address special needs, parent notification, sheltering and evacuation, resources, etc. Lunch provided. 3 HSN + 3 PRO Meets the 6-hour COMAR requirement for centers, family providers, and family child care applicants.
