Celebration of Black History Month. Tour the African Art Museum of Maryland from 3 - 4 p.m. Listen to Ronald Yancey describe his experiences at Georgia Tech. Hear Michael Mitchell reminisce about Justice Thurgood Marshall. Visit the Howard County Center of African American Culture which is located in the neighboring building. Enjoy Howard County student posters from the "Images of Freedom" contest. From 4 - 5 p.m guests can come and "Meet the People of Our Past". Actors will represent the following historical figures: Abraham Lincoln, Mary Banneker and Benjamin Banneker.
