CA Hosting Golf Tournament Fundraiser for Coalition for a Healthy Maryland

Golfers who come to Columbia for a tournament this October will not only be looking to lower their scores, but also will be there to raise money for charity.

Columbia Association (CA) will host the 2nd Annual Coalition for a Healthy Maryland Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 5, at the Fairway Hills Golf Club, located at 5100 Columbia Road. CA is a proud supporter of the Coalition for a Healthy Maryland, which is a collaboration of Maryland businesses, health clubs, insurers, nonprofit associations and individuals determined to improve the health of the state. The coalition’s mission is to promote prevention — the real answer to the obesity epidemic and the spiraling costs of health care.

The entry fee is $125 for individuals and $400 for foursomes, and includes greens fees and a cart. The tournament will be played in 18-hole scramble format. Players will be able to use the practice range beforehand.
