Using film, slides, web, and literature, Susan Douglass of the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University examines the arts, sciences, and material culture of Spain and other Muslim societies during Islamic Spain. This was a unique time in the history of European civilization where Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived side by side for 700 years.
