EverythingDogBlog #69: The Buddies are back in “Super Buddies”!

Get ready for another cute, epic tale! Those adorable buddies are back again and just in time for school! The five little golden retriever (see photo by DStark) puppies are coming to town! The movie will be available August 27, 2013, everywhere.

Remember Air Bud, that basketball-playing golden retriever from Fernfield, Washington, who saves the day no matter what sport?

We all loved him (in five movies) and his pups (in five, also, so far). As a matter of fact, when I was deployed to Afghanistan, we actually held an Air Bud movie marathon (we often received DVDs in CARE packages and sometimes we even got what we requested!).

In just two weeks, we will see the arrival of the latest Buddies movie, Super Buddies. “When the Earth needs a hero, why settle for one when you can have five?” Each comes with his or her own unique superpower - you can also get a set of six Super Buddies trading cards. How cool is that?

In the meantime, kids, try guessing which superpower each Buddy has – Budderball, Rosebud, Buddha, B-Dawg, and Mudbud. The superpowers are Super Stretch, Super Strength, Super Speed, Super Invisibility, and Super Mind Control. Then, check your answers when you watch Super Buddies on August 27.
