Register for Summer Black Student Achievement Program

Registration will be held starting next week for the Black Student Achievement Program Summer Programs in Howard County Public Schools.

Registration will be held starting next week for the Black Student Achievement Program Summer Programs in Howard County Public Schools.

Parents can register their students on Wednesdays, June 11 and 18, between 4 and 7 p.m.; and on Saturdays June 14 and 21, from 9 to 11 a.m. Registration will be held at the Homewood Center, 10914 Clarksville Pk. in Ellicott City.

The summer activities will be held at Mount Hebron High School from June 25-July 18 for all students entering grades 1-12. The cost is $500, and tuition assistance is available.
    
The BSAP Summer Program uses innovative teaching methods that are multi-sensory, hands-on and designed to enrich student achievement in a relaxed but rigorous setting.
 
Summer program extracurricular activities for elementary students include language arts, science, drama, music, health and fitness, dance, martial arts, robotics and more. Secondary students will participate in sports, radio broadcasting, food and nutrition, dance, engineering, drama, music, and science, just to name a few.
