Howard County Public Schools Make Snow Decision

Snow is in the forecast until Monday afternoon.

All Howard County public schools and offices are closed Monday, March 17, according to an announcement from the school system Monday morning.

All evening activities in schools, both school- and community-sponsored, are canceled. This includes high school athletic practices and games.

Only custodians are to report to work at 12 p.m.

Howard County is under a winter storm warning until 2 p.m. Monday, with the National Weather Service calling for 5 to 10 inches of snow.
