The first event in the 2012 Circle Series, presented by the Women’s Giving Circle of Howard County, features wealth coach Deborah Owens, author of “A Purse of Your Own,” on Thursday, May 3, 6 p.m., at Lord & Taylor in The Mall in Columbia.

Underwritten by Legg Mason, Fidelity Investments and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Owens will discuss “seven wealthy habits” and how to apply them to become financially secure.  Creating a well-balanced portfolio and understanding investing will also be covered.  Attendees receive a complimentary copy of Owens’ book.
