Patricia Daley, the new director of the Department of Special Education, will discuss the new IEP five-day law and where to go within the school system with concerns about your student's education.
There will be a Board of Education candidate forum following Ms. Daley's presentation. Families can ask the candidates their ideas and opinions on issues related to special education. Ms. Daley will have a listening post from 6:30 to 7:00 where parents can meet one-on-one with Department of Special Education staff to discuss specific concerns
