Mythbusters: Dispelling Commonly Held Beliefs about Alcohol and Other Drugs in Your Community and Your School

HC DrugFree, a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower the Howard County community to raise drug-free teens, will address myths about topics including the addictiveness of marijuana and likelihood of teenagers drinking alcohol and abusing drugs. Substance abuse counselor Mark Donovan and Howard County Police Officer Mark Heron will discuss the reality of drug and alcohol abuse in Howard County during this interactive program.

 The program is free, open to parents and teenagers, and requires no registration.
