Minding the Store - Retail Realities in Commercial Centers

The Columbia Association invites all interested community members to hear Tom Moriarity  speak on Minding the Store: Retail Realities in Commercial Centers, on Monday, November 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Historic Oakland. This presentation on the economics of retailing will address what retailers want and/or require and what is necessary to make neighborhood-oriented retail centers work. Moriarity, an expert on commercial districts and revitalization, will focus his remarks on commercial centers similar in scale to Columbia's nine village centers.
