How to Avoid Tick Bites: Personal Protection, Prevention, and Landscape Modifications (FREE Seminar)

Overview: Spring/Summer is here and with it comes concerns about being bitten by disease-transmitting ticks. Information on Lyme disease symptoms, ticks and their habitats, tick repellents, protective outdoor-clothing, and suggestions on modifications to home landscapes to reduce
tick encounters will be presented through PowerPoint slides.
 
At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

*Recognize symptoms *Avoid tick habitats *Use
tick repellents and tick-protective clothing effectively *Modify their home landscape to reduce tick populations *Lessen their anxiety about the outdoors and tick bites.
