Fresh water, once abundant, free, and clean, is becoming scarce, a commodity sold and traded, and contaminated. will present an overview and insights on the changes in our essential water resources and what can be done in Maryland. On the eve of the opening of the Maryland Legislature, Brad Heavner, a lead advocate for major environmental improvement legislation, will explain Environment Maryland’s Clean Water Campaign, including storm water runoff, fertilizer overuse and impacts of sea level rise. He will show how to take part in cleaning Maryland waters.
