Breastfeeding 101 - Right from the Start! | Monday, July 23 from 5-8 pm

A one-time three hour class taught by an experienced lactation educator and mother of 6 children. Learn how to get a great start to breastfeeding right after birth and beyond. Learn your babies hunger signals before they start to cry and how to facilitate your baby's own instincts and behaviors to breastfeed comfortably.  Topics to include: Baby led and mother encouraged latch techniques and positions taught and practiced with models, how to know your baby is getting enough, handling challenges, pumping and handling breast milk and returning to work local resources for breastfeeding support.   Presented by Lorrie Leigh ofLeigh Childbirth Services.  Classes will be small and partners are welcome. $45 for 3 hours. Please register in advance by July 20.
