Matt Bellace Stresses Natural Highs and Social Support at Free Event

HC DrugFree, a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower the Howard County community to raise drug-free teens, will present A Better High: Supporting Teens in Making Healthy Choices featuring nationally renowned speaker and comedian Matt Bellace. The event for parents and teenagers is free.

Bellace, who holds a doctorate in clinical neuropsychology, will discuss the importance of natural highs and social support at the event. His presentation will blend stand-up comedy, interactive demonstrations and inspirational stories.

Bellace has been a youth motivational speaker and stand-up comedian since 1995. He is a member of the National Speakers Association and wrote the book, “A Better High.” His “How to Get High Naturally” program encourages more than a hundred thousand students a year to pursue natural highs and make healthy choices.

Bellace was a recurring comedian on truTV’s “The Smoking Gun Presents,” and his stand-up comedy can be heard on Sirius XM’s comedy channels.
