MD 32 - Wellworth Way Access Management Improvements
 

The MD State Highway Administration is requesting an amendment to the regional 2011-2014 Transportation Improvement Program to add funding to MD 32 - Wellworth Way Access Management Improvements.

Funds related to this TIP amendment will be used to purchase right-of-way (ROW) to provide different access for homes as a result of removing private driveways currently on MD 32 to the local roadway system, especially Rosemary Lane and Wellworth Way.
 
The overall purpose of this project, which has completed the planning phase, is to address safety concerns by exploring options to upgrade MD 32 (from MD 108 to I-70) in Howard County.

A public meeting to answer questions and accept comments on this amendment will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department (12535 MD 99 / Old Frederick Road, Sykesville, MD 21784).  >> View Map
