Presentation of Hickory Ridge a presentation of the Village Center Community Plan

The Hickory Ridge Village Board invites the community to attend a presentation of the Village Center Community Plan for Hickory Ridge Village Center on Tuesday, April 26 at 7pm at the Hawthorn Center, 6175 Sunny Spring in Columbia. 

Howard County Council Bill 29-2009 encouraged each village to develop a long range plan for its village center. 

In March of 2010, the Hickory Ridge Village Board appointed a nine member Village Center Visualization Committee to examine the existing village center and create a plan that would include boundaries for the center, appropriate uses in and around the center, planning and design concepts, and future vision for the center. 

The committee has completed its initial work and would like resident input on its plans.
