BRAC Jobs 101 – Information Night

The Howard County Office of Workforce Development, in partnership with the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation, will co-host a presentation for the community on the latest Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) job information on Tuesday, May 3, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Arundel High School auditorium, 1001 Annapolis Road in Gambrills.

The event is free and for informational purposes only – this is NOT a job fair.

Representatives from federal agencies and private companies will be on hand to discuss the type of BRAC-related job opportunities that exist, where those jobs are located and the most efficient way to apply for those positions.

In addition, a representative from Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) will explain the security clearance process.

“This is our chance to provide job seekers with the most accurate, up-to-date information on BRAC-related jobs in our area,” said Francine Trout, Director of Howard County’s Office of Workforce Development.  “We also want to make sure residents in both Howard and Anne Arundel Counties know about the workforce services available in their own communities.”
