Ball, Guzzone, Marker Named County Co-Chairs of Brown/Ulman Campaign

Del. Guy Guzzone and County Council member Calvin Ball chosen as Howard County co-chairs for Brown/Ulman gubernatorial campaign.

Earlier this week, the Anthony Brown/ Ken Ulman gubernatorial campaign announced its county co-chairs.

In Howard County, Del. Guy Guzzone, County Council member Calvin Ball and Democratic volunteer Mary Marker were chosen to head up the Brown/ Ulman campaign locally.

Brown has a strong Howard County connection already in his running mate, County Executive Ken Ulman.

"Anthony Brown and Ken Ulman have the experience that Maryland needs and I look forward to helping promote their vision for the future," said Guy Guzzone, in a statement.

"As an educator and local official, I'm excited to support a team focused on real results that matter most to Marylanders in areas like education, job creation, public safety and environmental sustainability," stated Ball.

On Monday, Brown's primary opponent, Gansler, announced Del. Jolene Ivey, a Prince George's County Democrat, would be his running-mate.
