Woman Robbed at Gunpoint in Laurel in Anne Arundel County

Police in Anne Arundel County are looking for a man suspected of robbing a woman at gunpoint Tuesday night in Laurel.

The woman was getting out of her vehicle on the 8300 block of Widgeon Place when a man with a gun approached her, police said. The man demanded money and got away with the woman's wallet.

The man fled in a vehicle described as an older model, white, four-door sedan – possibly a Chevrolet Celebrity, police said. He drove away eastbound on Oxbow Place, but responding officers were unable to find him.

He was described as tall with a thin build, wearing a black hat or bandana, a black-and-white shirt and white shorts.
