He was pulling out of a parking lot at Crazy Ray's  junkyard at 8125 Washington Blvd. when his 1999 Nissan Maxima collided with a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro that was headed northbound on Route 1, police said.

The crash left three people trapped in their vehicles, according to Howard County Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Eric Proctor.

In the Camaro were driver Tristian Rayshon Johnson, 25, of Springdale, and passenger Katherine Lynn Nguyen, 26, of Falls Church, Va. Both were uninjured and refused medical treatment.

Police believe Gray failed to yield right of way to the Camaro. Alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the collision, police said.
