Three Charged With Robbing Pharmacy Customer of Prescription Drugs: Howard County Crime Roundup

Ellicott City: Robbery

Police have arrested three people who are accused of robbing a pharmacy customer of prescription drugs as he exited the store.

The robbery happened on the 3300 block of Centennial Lane at about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6. A man had just left the pharmacy when a male suspect approached him, implied that he had a weapon, stole pain medication, then ran away east on Route 40.

Police say that man is David Loren Neighoff, 26, of 1258 Armstead Way in Baltimore. He has been charged with one count of robbery, three counts of theft, one count of second-degree assault and one count of verbal extortion.

Two women, meanwhile, have been accused of being in the store, watching customers pick up prescriptions and then signaling Neighoff outside.

The women – Ashley M. Fish, 23, of 5145 Bartholow Road in Eldersburg, and  Susan A. Schmolitz, 26, of 1258 Armstead Way in Baltimore – have both been charged with one count of robbery and three counts of theft.

Long Reach: Burglary

A safe and coins were stolen from a home on the 5400 block of Stormdrift. The suspect or suspects got inside through an unlocked garage door and then by forcing open a door leading to the house itself. The burglary happened sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5.

Ellicott City: Burglary

Cash, jewelry and prescription medications were stolen from a home on the 3200 block of Wheaton Way. There were no signs of forced entry. The burglary happened sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5.

Elkridge: Burglary

Cash was stolen from Gateway Pizza and Subs on the 6500 block of Old Waterloo Road. The suspect or suspects got inside by breaking a glass front door. The burglary happened sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6.

Columbia: Vehicle Theft

A black 2004 Honda CDR with Maryland license plate D18325 was stolen from the 6100 block of Starburn Path. It was reported stolen at 9:43 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6.
